Rose Cottage is situated in the beautiful Teme valley in rural mid Wales, above the river between Powys and Shropshire on the Welsh Border. Dutlas lies between the market towns of Knighton and Newtown.
Rose Cottage is a comfortable peaceful self catering holiday cottage near Beguildy, with two bedrooms and all modern conveniences, stunning views, and lots of Teme valley wildlife. Visitors find it a perfect peaceful holiday retreat in mid Wales away from the bustle of city life; for some a romantic holiday cottage getaway.
The main sitting room has views towards Beacon Hill nature reserve and Wales, and the sun room has panoramic views across the river to Shropshire through the large picture windows; from the balcony or the patio. It is a great place for bird and otter watching! The main sitting room has television with Free Sat and BT Sport channels as well as DVD and VHS players with videos, books and games and a wood burning stove. There is a landline telephone available as there is no mobile signal locally.
Rose Cottage has one double room and one twin room. It comfortably sleeps four, and a cot is available if required. Oil fired central heating keeps the cottage snug. The bathroom has both bath and shower. There is a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen, as well as a tumble dryer. The outhouse will securely accommodate bicycles.
